Sylvia Del Raso
Board Treasurer, Chicago Youth Boxing Club Inc

Sylvia Del Raso is currently an Operation Support Specialist with the U.S Postal Service with 28 years of service at the Carol Stream P&DC. She enjoys her position because it has allowed for her to participate in mail improvement projects that have been recognized by the Chicago leadership. She has served on many boards including as secretary for the Hispanic Organization of Postal Employees and for the Lawndale Christian Health Center. Sylvia currently volunteers for the Chicago Youth Boxing Club and serves on the administrative board for La Villita Community Church where she also serves as an Elder. She has a deep commitment to serving her community. She was born in Michoacan Mexico and was young when her parents decided to immigrate to Chicago in 1969 and have remained in the Little Village neighborhood. Sylvia is married and has a beautiful mixed poodle (Charo). She and her husband enjoy riding their iron horse down to see the Mississippi River rising and playing Texas Hold’em poker.
