Luz Jennifer Divantoque Naranjo is a Manager at Mingaia, a community environmental project, in Bogota Colombia. Here she supports with designing projects, organizing activities, and working on the communications. Mingaia organizes free workshops every weekend for community residents on various topics such as environmental, cultural, sports, social and personal growth. Luz Jennifer also works to care for a local Wetland and shares free sessions of courses with institutions such as the Botanical Garden of Bogotá so that they can obtain training in additional environmental care methods. She is keen to see the community in not just Bogota but Colombia as a whole unite and develop better social and community cohesion, with greater linkages between communities and institutions so they can collaborate on community development activities.
